Slow Dance Experiment

Established in Brisbane in 2018 at the Black Bear Lodge with DJs Phil Smart and Jimmy Ellis, the Slow Dance Experiment is a dancefloor excursion into the slower realms of danceable beats. Taking in a multitude of genres including slomo, downtempo, low slung house, postnudisco and chug, the only rule is a speed limit of 120 beats per minute.

The Slow Dance Experiment is now spreading its wings to Sydney with quarterly shows at the infamous  dirty little disco basement, Club 77 on William Street.
